A great visionary, Hon. Shri Shankarraoji G.Kolhe, Chairman,
SRES and former Minister of Transport, State Excise and Urban Land Ceiling,
Govt. of Maharashtra , established Sanjivani Rural Education Society in 1982.
Since then it has been continuously making efforts to promote 'Quality Technical Education'
in the holy land of Saibaba.
There are number of institutes under the of society offering full-fledged school education,
Diploma, Graduation and Post-Graduation. The Society runs D.Pharmacy College,
College Of Engineering (A Grade), K.B.P. Polytechnic, Information Technology,
the industrial Training Centre, Sanjivani Sainiki School, College of Education (B.Ed),
Pre-cadet Training Centre and Motor Driving School etc.
All the institutes under the SRES are recognized by the concerned statutory
authorities and meticulously meet the norms and standards lain down by them.
The society has hand-picked eminent personalities from the filed of Education
and industry as members of the management committee who are committed to provide
necessary guidance in the academic and professional fronts from time to time.
Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research proudly belongs to
this renowned society. The day to day activities of society are managed under
the able guidance of Executive Trustee Shri. Nitinrao S. Kolhe and Trustees
Shri. B.Y. Varkad, Shri. Bipinrao S. Kolhe and Shri P.B.Deokar.

The Institute is located about 1 km from Kopargaon Railway Station which is on
Manmad-Daund-Pune route of Central Railway. It is 40kms. From manmad juction on New Delhi-Itrasi-Mumbai
main railway line which is very well connected to all major cities of India by rail.
The holy shrine of Shri Saibaba of Shirdi is about 15kms. From the institute.
Institute is located 2 kms. Form kopargaon city bus- stand and is nearby
to Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar karkhana.
